DENVER - Authorities say a man who died of possible cyanide poisoning at a Denver hotel was 29-year-old Saleman Abdirahman Dirie from Ottawa.
The medical examiner's office is awaiting toxicology results after conducting an autopsy Tuesday.
Police say Dirie had been dead for several days when his body was discovered yesterday in a room at the Burnsley Hotel, about four blocks from the Colorado State Capitol.
They say nothing suggests foul play.
A hazardous-materials team found a bottle of white powder in the man's fourth-floor room and authorities say they are trying to determine what the powder is.
The FBI says it is assisting in the investigation.
