Motorist whose car broke down on highway finds body; police investigating

LEDUC, Alta. - Police say a motorist whose car broke down found a body in a ditch in central Alberta.

Leduc RCMP say the motorist called them on Wednesday about 5 p.m. to say she was walking along Highway 19 to a gas station when she spotted the body.

Police are treating the death as suspicious.

They are still trying to identify the person and the circumstances surrounding the death.
