Body found in home near Chatham, Ont., after suspicious weekend fire

CHATHAM, Ont. - A body has been pulled from a house in a town near Chatham, Ont., following a suspicious fire over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Erieau just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
Officials from the Ontario fire marshal's office were called to investigate but were unable to enter the building until Tuesday because of unsafe conditions.
A body was discovered inside, with a post-mortem scheduled for Wednesday.
Police have been unable to contact the person who was renting the house.
The cause of the fire is still not known.
