WINDSOR, Ont. - Postal service to about 39,000 customers in Windsor, Ont., will resume Monday following an evacuation due to a suspected pepper spray leak in a Canada Post office.
About 75 employees were evacuated from the office on Thursday and Friday after some complained of symptoms such as watery eyes and scratchy throats.
The evacuation caused a stop in mail delivery in some areas of the city.
Canada Post spokesman Tom Creech says the problem seems to have been caused by a leaking canister of pepper spray.
He says tests performed over the weekend found no airborne contaminants.
The canisters have been taken away to be tested.
