Gas station robbed at knife point
Three teenagers were arrested last week after a witness called 911 to report a home break-in in Kirkland at about 8 p.m. on Oct. 14.

Three 16-year-old boys, one from Dollard des Ormeaux, one from Pierrefonds and the other from Roxboro, were picked up on Hymus Boulevard by patrol officers responding to the break-in call on Chateauneuf Street, said Station 1 Const. J.P. Levis, adding they fitted the description of the suspects provided by the witness.

The teens were arrested and brought to the Montreal police west operational centre in St. Laurent and their parents were called to pick them up. Levis said the investigation is ongoing and charges against the minors are pending.
Gas station robbed at knife point
A man armed with a knife robbed the Petro Canada service station on St. Charles Boulevard in Kirkland on Oct. 18.

At about 8 p.m., a man brandishing a knife, wearing a black toque and a blue bandana over his face, demanded the clerk hand over the contents of the cash and some cigarettes, said Station 1 Const. J.P. Levis. The bandit grabbed the cash and smokes and put them in a backpack and fled running east. The clerk did not spot a get-a-away car. The incident was caught on security video. No arrest has been made yet. Police are looking for an English-speaking white man of average height and build.
